Bhasin Properties was started in 1984 by Hari Bhasin the same way many businesses start - out of necessity. Hari was a garment importer renting warehouse space in Hoboken, New Jersey when the rent shot up 200% as Hoboken started to see a massive resurgence. Instead of paying double the rent he decided to build his own warehouse and lease part of the building to offset the cost. Shortly after he saw the value of industrial real-estate in northern New Jersey and closed his garment business to pursue industrial real estate full-time. Hari became a leader in the flex space market focusing heavily on the meadowlands area which is a stone's throw away from New York City, New York. He refined his building design with each successive project eventually creating the model that many developers use in this sub market today.
Today Bhasin properties owns, manages, and leases over 500,000 sq ft of class A industrial in addition to the 300,000 sq ft of class A industrial they have built and sold. Their next upcoming projects will be an industrial park of approximately 700,000 sq ft in the rapidly developing Port St Lucie sub market in Florida.
